Overview

ValueStone sources, inspects, and exports Japanese used cars for overseas buyers. Japan’s domestic market is one of the world’s largest and best-maintained — low mileage, strict inspections, and meticulous ownership make its vehicles highly sought after abroad.

Acting as your purchasing agent, we bid at domestic dealer auctions on your behalf, verify each vehicle’s true condition, and manage export and shipping from start to finish — so you buy with the same confidence you would in person.

What we handle
  • Sourcing & auction bidding. Access to Japan’s dealer auctions and used-car market, with bids placed on your behalf to your budget.
  • Inspection & verification. We confirm condition, mileage, auction grade, and history so there are no surprises.
  • Export documentation. Deregistration, export certificates, and customs paperwork prepared for you.
  • International shipping. RoRo or container shipping arranged to your nearest port, with tracking to delivery.

Plans & service fee

Choose how far you want us to take it. The figures below are our agency service fee per vehicle; the vehicle and third-party costs are passed through at cost (see next section).

Concierge Sourcing from $400 Dedicated search for a specific model, bidding across multiple auctions, and optional pre-export inspection or refurbishment coordination.
  • Service fees are quoted per vehicle in USD. Multi-unit and dealer volumes are negotiable.
  • Japan-side third-party costs (next section) are billed at actual cost in JPY.

How it works

  2. We find & bid. We shortlist candidates and bid at auction or negotiate a direct purchase.
  3. Inspect & confirm. You approve the vehicle and final quote before we proceed.
  4. Export & ship. We handle paperwork and shipping, and keep you updated to delivery.
